| Beth Simone Noveck is the McClatchy Visiting Associate Professor, Department of Communication, Stanford. She is Professor of Law and Director, Institute for Information Law & Policy, New York Law School. Her work focuses on the impact of new technology on institutions, exploring how computer networks and interfaces decentralize power and enable groups to operate. Noveck founded the Do Tank, an R&D lab to create legal and software code to foster collaborative ways of governing. In December 2006, the Do Tank launched Community Patent Review in cooperation with the US Patent Office to open patent examination to public participation by scientific experts. | ||
